A star on the rise, Aljon Mendoza, is showing that he is another heartthrob that Filipino fans will be falling in love with.

Known for being the “Shy Charmer of Pampanga” in the hit reality show, Pinoy Big Brother, Aljon is a star on the rise! Here are some things we found out about our Meg Crush:

Despite his good looks and star qualities, Aljon is actually quite a shy guy, hence getting the nickname, “Shy Charmer of Pampanga.” Admitting to having social anxiety, Aljon joined PBB to conquer and outgrow his fear of socializing. After getting out of the PBB house, it seemed that his courage to put himself in the public eye was starting to pay off. Because not long after his eviction in PBB Otso, Aljon was tapped to join SanDugo, a drama series starring Ejay Falcon–who also joined PBB way back 2008 and became the Big Winner!

Being included in the cast of SanDugo, still fresh from the PBB house, was a big deal. As this is his acting debut, working with prominent stars meant being trusted with getting the job right. SanDugo will feature the cast of Elisse Joson, Aljur Abrenica, and well-known actresses, Cherry Pie Picache and Aiko Melendez.

With his good looks and soft boy charm, it’s no surprise that Filipino fans are quite captivated by him. Even our lovely MEG Girl, Karina, has publicly shown her fondness for Aljon. “He’s respectful, he never takes advantage. He loves his mom so much. I know how close they are and I admire him for that,” said Karina in their exclusive interview with Inside Showbiz.
